Becoming a Member of The RISD Museum offers you much more than free admission—it also gives you access to a wealth of special events and openings, discounts on classes and shopping, and more.
There are three Membership levels with a range of categories organized to suit your needs. Alumni and gift Memberships are also available at all levels. If you have questions or want additional information, please call the Membership Office at 401 454-6322. Please note that General Membership fees are not tax-deductible.
Joining The RISD Museum is easy: join online or complete a Membership form and fax it to 401 454-6556 or mail it to The RISD Museum, PO Box 415418, Boston, MA 02241-5418. Please make checks payable to the Museum of Art, Rhode Island School of Design.
General Membership
INDIVIDUAL $50
Unlimited free admission to the Museum and Chace Center special exhibitions, plus
10% discount in the new Museum retail space: the unique risd|works in its new location in the Chace Center
- 10% discount in risd|works
- 10% discount for select RISD Continuing Education extension classes
- Discounted or free tickets to Museum concerts, films, educational workshops, public talks and lectures, and other special events
- Invitations to special Members-only exhibition previews

- Validated half-price parking at MetroPark lot (Steeple and North Main Street)
FAMILY $75
Individual Membership benefits for two adults and two children, plus special discounts for other programs.
Friends
The generosity displayed when you join at or above the Friends level provides support that is vital to the success of the Museum. In return, our Friends receive all the benefits of General Membership and more, including expanded programs and events and participation in the Art Museum Reciprocal Network, which provides free admission to and some membership benefits at more than 30 other museums across the country.
