SPECIAL EXHIBITION PROGRAMS 
Artists, scholars, critics, writers, and other specialists share their in-depth knowledge of current exhibitions and related issues through symposia, lectures, and gallery discussions. See the Museum Calendar for upcoming programs.

TUESDAY TALKS
Curators and professors offer short lectures focusing on a topic related to the art in the Museum’s collection. $15 per lecture for non members or $35 for lecture seasonal series; free to members. See the Museum Calendar for upcoming programs.

GALLERY CONVERSATIONS
Join curators, artists and scholars for gallery discussions on objects, issues, trends, and time periods. Free with museum admission. See the Museum Calendar for upcoming programs.

GALLERY NIGHT
third Thursday of the month, 5-9pm | admission is absolutely free!

A free city-wide art evening. Third Thursday of the month, 5-9pm. At the museum, join a ten-minute talk or two. Take gallery exploration into your own hands. Enjoy live music with wine at our cash bar. Exercise your artistic potential with optional coaching. Travel at no charge via the Art Bus, which loops continuously to more than a dozen art galleries and museums. ART WORKSHOPS
Works of art in the Museum’s galleries provide the inspiration. You respond with the guidance of an experienced art educator. Limited class sizes offers personal attention to students of all levels. Discount class fees for members. See museum calendar.

ART HISTORY SEMINARS
Take advantage of the exclusive opportunity to study art history with curators and educators in the Museum's galleries. These intimate and informative sessions are limited to twenty students. Discount seminar prices are available for members. See museum calendar.

NOONTIME TOURS
On Friday starting at 12:15 pm, meet in the Chace Center Lobby to join a special 30-minute docent-led tour which takes you through special exhibitions. Advanced registration is not required and there is not a minimum number required. This is a great opportunity for small groups be introduced to the Museum's special exhibitions. Free with Museum admission.

VSA ARTS
“Arts Connect" is a series of visual arts classes for adults with intellectual disabilities. These classes, which focus on studying and creating work inspired by art exhibited at RISD Museum, take place in the galleries in six-week sessions on Saturdays, 10:30am-12pm. Funded by VSA arts of Rhode Island, with additional support from the Museum and RI State Council on the Arts. For more information and to register, call VSA Arts at 401 725-0247. www.vsartsri.org
